Welcome to Rosemary Kennedy Elementary School! Currently, we are servicing 565 students in grades TK-5. We also host two Riverside County Programs for students with Special Needs. Our number one priority is to provide all students at RMK the highest quality of instruction. All staff has high expectations of our students and more importantly, the ultimate goal of focusing on a successful future. Schoolwide we have implemented and are part of the "No Excuses Network" with TurnAround Schools; included in this concept is "Character Counts", which is part of our Schoolwide Discipline Plan. We are extremely proud of our progress and continue to strive toward school improvement in the coming years.
It is hard to believe we are in January and we have entered a New Year! Welcome to 2017! It is exciting to have the beginning of a new year with so much to look forward to. We hope you enjoyed the holidays with loved ones and that the two weeks off gave you much time to relax and refresh. I would like to thank all of you who donated items to help make the holidays a special time for families in need. We were able to provide food and gifts for fifteen families in addition to providing bikes for seven families. Your generosity was greatly appreciated by the families we contacted. I hope to see you all at our RMK Science Fair on the 20th of January or at our Flag Ceremony on the 27th.
