Mrs. Mary McAllister-Parsons, Principal

Greetings!  I am very honored and excited to continue as your principal at Twinhill Elementary School-Home of the Terrific Tornadoes.  I am proud of our school and its commitment to educating ALL students.  As your principal it is my mission to inspire and support the entire Twinhill school family into places of excellence as students, educators, support staff, parent/guardian-partners and community-based partners.

In my eyes, one of the most important aspects of my work as your principal is building relationships with students, families, teachers and support staff.  It is important to me to be visible before, during and after school whether it is in our classrooms, hallways, playground or at the entrance to our school.

Together we can and will create a path for student success because of our collective commitment to join forces as a united school family, declaring that ALL of our children will receive the best education in a welcoming and safe learning environment. As we work together throughout the school year, I encourage you to make education a priority with your children.  Please ensure that your children come to school every day and on time, complete their homework and read daily.  I also encourage you to maintain regular contact with your child's teacher, volunteer at our school and join one of our parent groups such as PTA.

I look forward to a successful school year as we fulfill the Alvord Promise:

ALL students will realize their unlimited potential.

Respectfully,

Mary McAllister-Parsons
