District-Wide Closure- Observance for Trustee Robert D. Schwandt II

The Alvord Unified School District office and all school sites will be closed to the public on Friday, July 12th. Regular school hours will resume on Monday, July 15th.

Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

Our goal is to connect families, and the community to resources and services to collaborate towards building a healthier community. The Community Worker through the English Learner Support Services Department, link parents of immigrant and English learner students experiencing: homelessness, low-income, and foster students. The Community Worker assists in a liaison capacity to network with outside agencies and departments within the district, including but not limited to:

Food banks
Tutoring
Health clinics
Rosetta Stone
Adult Education
